Location: The Foundry (101 Rogers Street, Cambridge), The Point
Description: This will be a visual art feedback session with an opening discussion inspired by the writing of Martin Herbert, Anuradha Vikram, and Jenny Odell. How do we maintain our creativity, motivation, and engagement in a world of alarms all around? What role does distancing- internal, temporal, or physical- play?
Following discussion of how these ideas tie into our own relationship to creativity we will transition into group critique of work for the remaining 2 hours of class. You can bring more than one piece and/or photos of your work(s). Any visual medium welcome, there is a TV for presenting short video clips if needed.
