Please join us for a special concert at MIT’s Killian Hall. Featuring: Soovin Kim & Bayla Keyes, violin; Marcus Thompson, Lila Brown, Kim Kashkashian & Dimitri Murrath, viola; Marcy Rosen, cello; Ya-Fei Chuang, piano.
Performing: Bach, Ciaccona (violin and four voices) - a performance including hidden chorales as revealed in a study by Helga Thoene; Berio, Violin duets (selections); Harbison, Cucaraccia and Fugue; Elgar, Piano Quintet in a, Op. 84.
Music for Food is a musician-led initiative to fight hunger in our home communities. Musicians volunteer their time and talent. All proceeds from this concert will benefit a Cambridge pantry to be determined.
Suggested donation is $25, $10 students.
