The students of New England Conservatory (NEC) are presenting Boston Strong Music, a concert to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Boston Marathon Bombing. The concert will feature an address by Reverend Liz Walker.


The concert will celebrate the city’s resilience, its sense of community and the promise of its young people by featuring uplifting and meaningful music with a series of short pieces and spoken word. Performances will span jazz, classical and roots music of all colors and creeds with students from around New England, the nation and the globe adding their voices to the celebration.


The performance will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 15 at Church of the Covenant located at 67 Newbury Street in Boston, MA. Admission is free. For more information about the performance, please visit: https://necmusic.edu/event/11581
