Garfield Mountain is a 4,500-foot mountain in Franconia, New Hampshire (Grafton County) in the White Mountains. We’ll be taking the Mount Garfield Trail which is a 9.3 mile out and back trail (meaning the trail will be the same going towards the peak and back) which also features beautiful wildflowers. This hike is rated as moderate for the distance and a gradual ascent. Please bring hiking shoes or running shoes with excellent traction, 2 – 3 liters of water, food, a hat, sunglasses, and a layer just in case of cold. Please try to avoid cotton clothing.
