We will follow the Signal Ridge Trail up to Mount Carrigain to enjoy awesome views from the summit and tower, and hike back down, making this a 10 mile out-and-back route. Please note, Sawyer River Road is closed for winter so it will add 2 miles each way of road walk.

A few things about hiking the Whites in the Spring -
You can expect: mud, interesting and possibly sketchy water crossings, bugs, ice and snow (still!), more mud, more bugs! Please come prepared with the gear and attitude necessary to withstand the spring conditions. Bug spray, bug nets, gaitors, microspikes, waterproof shoes, etc.
I enjoy sticking together and hiking as a group and tend to hike at a slow to moderate pace (~1.5 mph). Please only sign up if this sounds like a reasonable pace for you.
