Whether a grandmother, a new mom with little ones in tow or the proud “hooman” to a four-legged friend, all queens deserve a day of pampering and appreciation. This Mother’s Day, treat your matriarch (or yourself) to some delicious fun at City Tap House in Fort Point.

 

Upon arrival, stop and smell the flowers because all moms will be gifted with a mini bouquet. For canine mommas, there will be a bag of dog treats to further solidify the title of BFF to your pup.


From the kitchen, there will be a trio of specials: crispy salt and pepper calamari ($18) tossed with serrano peppers and scallions, drizzled with miso aioli; a lobster BLT ($29) with fresh lobster meat, applewood smoked bacon, lettuce and tomato served with hand-cut fries; and chicken Milanese ($23), a crispy chicken breast under a bed of shaved funnel and arugula finished with pecorino cheese.

 

For some liquid delights there is a Korbel MOMosa Tree ($30), a decorative display of five flutes with a choice of mixers like blue honey, peach schnapps, as well as an assortment of fresh-squeezed juices and purees; Mother’s Day Frosé ($13), frozen rosé with an edible flower garnish and the option of a Triple 8 blueberry float ($16); and Mommy’s Little Helper ($14) with Jameson, Kahlua, Bailey’s and coffee served on the rocks with a coffee bean garnish.
