Anyone else have Monday off for the holiday and want to spend it hiking? :)
We will be hiking Mount Moriah via Carter Moriah Trail- which is a 9.1 mile out and back trail with an elevation gain of 3,234 ft located near Gorham, New Hampshire that features a river and is rated as difficult. This is the route we will take :

We will pass through Mount Surprise which has great views of the Presidential Range. The summit also promises swell views of Washington!
You are joining like-minded enthusiasts and are responsible for your own safety and preparedness. You are responsible for having a map of this hike (digital or physical).
What to bring:
Waterproof hiking boots
Non-cotton layering system, which includes a base layer, fleece and/or puffy, windproof/waterproof shell
Hat and gloves
Headlamp and extra batteries
Enough Water (2-3 liters)
Food (Snacks/lunch). You will be burning a lot of energy!
Hiking Poles (optional but recommended)
Sunscreen
