Come join the movement using your ears and mind on a journey in a timeline of women who are poets, activists, caregivers, nurturers, mothers, sisters, queer, non-gender-conforming, and so on—all of whom have opened doors for women’s rights. This performance uses words, pictures, and soundscapes to applaud and celebrate these women, featuring music from Shirazette Tinnin’s latest album with Sonic WallPaper, The Cards That Life Can Deal, as well as music that is yet to be released. You don’t have to be a woman to enjoy Moods of Her, a human rights activist group led by Tinnin and including Berklee faculty members Jerome Kyles and Amanda Monaco, student Caleb Texier, and alum Andromeda Turre Klein.
