In this special collaborative Family Workshop with 2 Mindful Girls, students and caregivers will be guided through a series of mindful movements and age appropriate yoga moves with the intention of acknowledging all they are thankful for this season. After setting intentions, little artists will explore a selection of sensory activities including fabric collages and soothing watercolors. Join us for this relaxing workshop ahead of the busy holiday season!
Minni Family Workshops offer an interactive, approachable experience for the entire family. Each uniquely programmed workshop focuses on collaboration and materials exploration for all ages under the guidance of a supportive Minni instructor. In addition, participants will also explore a variety sensory, gross motor, and fine motor play + art stations. Each family will complete a unique work of art for display at home using high quality art materials.
About 2MindfulGirls:
Lisa Casillo & Ava Dussault are a mother-daughter team; both are elementary educators and hold children’s yoga certifications. Lisa and Ava own a children’s yoga studio both in Worcester and mobile in the Boston area, 2MindfulGirls. They host classes for children of all ages and incorporate mindful movement, games, and creativity through art projects, while nurturing the mind with mindfulness techniques at a child’s level.
