Minni Make + Play virtual workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 1.5–5 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.


In Minni Make + Play – Friend Day (virtual) students will learn how to care for others by creating a home for their favorite stuffed animal. Instructor Maria will begin with a book reading before guiding students through the designing and building process.


Materials Needed


Scavenger hunt item – find a favorite toy or stuffed animal to create a home for!
A carboard box with the front or back cut off (make sure the toy fits inside!)
Colorful construction paper

Various soft materials, such as fabric scraps, yarn, cotton balls and pom poms
Liquid glue
Paint brush or Q-Tip to apply glue with



We encourage all participants to complete a fun scavenger hunt challenge before we gather for each workshop. These items are listed above in the material list.
