Minni virtual workshops are designed to keep little ones ages 4–10 creating from the comfort of home. Each themed workshop focuses on skill development, simple repurposed materials and unique ways to engage with our environments.


In Minni CollageShop – Ocean Dioramas (virtual) students will embark on an ocean adventure right from home! Instructor Maria will encourage imagination and invention as students design an underwater scene using recycled + repurposed materials.


Materials Needed


Scavenger hunt items: 3D items and materials that can be added to your ocean diorama. Items may include rocks, shells, beads, pom poms – use your imagination!
1 box with the front or back cut off
Scissors
Blue, yellow and white tempera paint
Dish or tray for paint
Paint brushes
Colorful paper
Materials to create sea creatures with! This may include pipe cleaners, paper, playdough/ Model Magic, tooth picks and cardboard
Optional: bubble wrap, bottle caps, or other small round materials to create bubbles with


We encourage all participants to complete a fun scavenger hunt challenge before we gather for each workshop. These items are listed above in the material list.
