Lady BOS Productions presents MIND THE GAP, in association with ...that’s what she said. Join us for an evening that explores the space between where we are and where we want to be. An interdisciplinary bill of visual and performance artists explore inequalities in today’s cultural and political landscape through music, dance, theater, poetry, and photography. Similarly, audiences are invited to explore the displays of art at their own pace; performances will rotate and repeat throughout the evening in two locations: Green Street Studios’ Studio 3 and the GSS Lounge. Drinks and light refreshments will be available for purchase as you navigate this living gallery of inquisitive, investigative art.
All proceeds from this event will support ...that’s what she said, an all-femme run production that provides support to female and femme-identifying dance makers through peer-mentored critical response workshops, community outreach programs, and performance opportunities. This project includes a series of interdisciplinary, intergenerational events and workshops running from December 2018-March 2019, with a culminating performance on March 30, 2019 at the Boston University Dance Theater featuring Reina Gold, Jennifer Lin & IJ Chan, GeeGee Louise, Jenna Pollack, Nailah Randall-Bellinger, Nattie Trogdon, and Kristin Wagner.
