Ring in the Mid-Autumn Festival with some family crafting time at the Chinatown Branch! At 6:00 pm on Monday, September 25, join Chinatown-based artist Kelly Tan to make paper lanterns and decorate them with cut-out shapes and drawn designs. These lanterns will be able to hang and light up, perfect under the glowing moon!

Kelly Tan is a Chinese American artist and educator raised in Oakland’s Chinatown.

All ages are welcome! Supplies will be provided. No experience is necessary and no registration is required.
