Human Nature is an all encompassing experience, celebrating Michael Jackson’s tremendous legacy and journey. This production symbolizes the essence of his life and his emotional connection to music and the world. This storytelling production is a seamless interweaving of song, dance, theater, visuals, and spoken word. Embark on a journey to explore the King of Pop’s legacy which will celebrate the different phases of his life: the innocence of childhood, new beginnings in adolescence, social awareness, and the need for love in the world.
Professor Tia Fuller serves as the executive director of Human Nature. She has spent 10 years leading groundbreaking productions such as the Beyoncé Ensemble's Homecoming, Bruno Mars Ensemble, Ariana Grande/ Micki Miller, Rihanna Ensemble and many others. Fuller will direct five faculty and 60+ students in this production. The Berklee and Boston Conservatory at Berklee faculty involved include: Professor Mimi Jones (director), Professor Lil John Roberts (executive musical director), Professor Jhony Keys (musical director) and Boston Conservatory at Berklee Professor Anthony Burrell (executive choreographer). Additionally, the student department teams include: Student Executive Producers Candice Threat, Ambrosine Williams, and Ethan Zydel, Creative Directors Diego Mata, Candice Threat, and Maliyah Woodie, and many other student teams including musical arrangers, vocal arrangers, programmers, tech, wardrobe, social media, stage management, marketing and production, and assistants.
The Michael Jackson Ensemble is deeply rooted in the following five character building fundamental principles: wisdom, humility, forgiveness, nurturing, and spirituality. These principles are going to serve as the underlying roots in this groundbreaking Berklee production of the Michael Jackson Ensemble. Be prepared to be entertained, educated, uplifted and inspired in this collective celebration of our human nature.
