Given the phenomenal response to the limited release of Andrew Dominik's documentary "One More Time with Feeling" in September, there is now a second wave of screenings in a handful of venues across the world—including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Originally intended to be a concert film, "One More Time with Feeling" evolved into something much more significant as the filmmaker began to capture the process of the writing and recording of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' new album, "Skeleton Tree." Interwoven with the Bad Seeds’ filmed performance of the album are behind-the-scenes footage shot by Dominik, accompanied by Cave’s intermittent narration and improvised rumination.
The MFA's Film Program is recognized as one of the country's leading independent exhibitors of film, presenting more than 500 screenings of independent, foreign and classic films every year.
