What is invisible about you? What stories are untold about you and others? What stories are missing from our culture? What would happen if we tried to make them visible? Why might it be important to try and tell these stories?
Join writer Grace Talusan, chosen as this year’s Boston Book Festival’s One City One Story author, for an hour-long online writing session for all experience levels. The session will mostly be spent writing, but if there is time, some writers may volunteer to share aloud what they wrote and we may discuss the short story and the framing questions. In advance of the session, you are encouraged (but not required) to read Talusan's short story, "The Book of Life and Death," available for free download in English (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qeaV1IYsvWVZXq7dlNTHEwFMxg2wY3RN/view) and audio or multiple languages (https://bostonbookfest.org/one-city-one-story).
