Meet Simon Pearce, artisan, master glassblower and founder of revered handcrafted Simon Pearce glass and pottery. To commence the holiday season, Simon is making a special appearance to meet with customers and sign pieces of his glass collection.

About Simon Pearce
Simon Pearce is the oldest, large American maker of handcrafted glass. Made from the finest materials using old world techniques, Simon Pearce glass also has the durability for a lifetime of daily use. After apprenticing in the great glass houses of Europe and first starting his business in Kilkenny, Ireland, Simon Pearce moved to America in 1981 to pursue his dream of creating handcrafted glass using old world techniques and the finest raw materials. From the beginning, his glass was designed for a lifetime of daily use. Exceptionally brilliant, the glass is classified as lead free crystal and uses a proprietary raw material formula. For nearly 40 years, Simon Pearce has remained true to these values. All glass is made in America by glassblowers who are trained through the Simon Pearce apprentice program.


About Andrew Pearce:
Third-generation artisan, Andrew Pearce, continues the family tradition through an innovative process to produce several bowls that are cut from the same block, then hand-finished with walnut oil. His bowls combine the artistic integrity of a hand-turned bowl with the efficiency of a machine manufactured product. Using locally sourced wood, the bowls are created through a unique manufacturing process designed by Andrew and finished by hand to capture the authenticity and design of a hand-turned bowl. The process produces very little waste, utilizing as much of the wood as possible to minimize impacts on the environment and encourage sustainability.
