Medford: Mistakes Landlords Have Made in Court

This discussion will cover evictions and landlord-tenant disputes:

• Mistakes other landlords have made.
• Takeaways from significant cases over the years.
• Why court procedure requires most landlords to have an attorney.
• What you can do to protect your assets.

Attendees will leave having learned from the mistakes of others so that we can avoid them.

Our event host and emcee is Sage Jankowitz. Sage is the owner of Cambridge Sage Real Estate, a real estate agency providing leasing, multi-family sales, landlord consulting and development services in Cambridge, Somerville, Medford and Malden. Sage is an advertiser, service provider and MassLandlords volunteer with a deep passion for all things landlords and multi-family real estate. He has been a frequent attendee at events at our Cambridge office.

Part of this event will be presented by Attorney George Georgountzos. Attorney Georgountzos received his J.D. from the Suffolk University School of Law in 2000. He then managed a solo practice for twelve years. He joined Rudolph Friedman LLP, where he litigates for residential and commercial landlords and also represents buyers and sellers of small businesses. He speaks four languages fluently and enjoys traveling with his family.
