City Councilor Andrea Campbell, in partnership with Ron Savage, Dean of the Professional Performance Division at Berklee College of Music, will host the Mattapan Jazz & Unity Festival at the 'greens' in front of the Foley Senior Residences, 249 River Street, Mattapan, MA 02126, on Sunday, September 22 from 1-5 PM.


The festival will be emceed by Valerie Stephens, a native Bostonian and an award winning multifaceted performing artist, and feature performances by Ron Savage Trio, with special guests Gabrielle Goodman and Bill Pierce, Rollins Ross featuring Athene Wilson,
Sean Skeete and Mzizi West featuring Jacques Schwarz-Bart, and the Berklee City Music Allstars.


There will also be local dance and spoken word acts, and food vendors on site.
