The Baker-Polito Administration and the Department of Public Health developed a vaccine distribution timeline after extensive consultation with the Massachusetts Vaccine Advisory Group, made up of leaders from health care, the faith community, community organizations, local government, and others.

Massachusetts is detailing eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine for all residents:
➡️ March 22: People age 60+ AND certain workers
➡️ April 5: People age 55+ AND people with one certain medical condition

UPDATE 2/17/21: The Baker-Polito Administration has announced vaccine appointment bookings for individuals ages 65+, individuals with 2+ certain medical conditions to begin on Thursday, February 18th. More info.

UPDATE 2/10/21: Beginning Thursday, 2/11, individuals accompanying Massachusetts residents over the age of 75 who are getting a COVID-19 vaccine may make an appointment to get vaccinated themselves at any of the state’s mass vaccination sites. Individuals can go HERE and schedule two separate appointments at either the same time or adjacent times. Details.
UPDATE 1/25/21: The Baker-Polito Administration has announced people 75+ & 65+ are moving up in priority in Phase Two, which starts in February 2021.

Vaccine distribution in MA will occur in a phased approach:
PHASE 1
(December 2020 – February 2021)
Listed in order of priority:
> Clinical and non-clinical health care workers doing direct and COVID-facing care
> Long term care facilities, rest homes and assisted living facilities
> Emergency medical services, police, and fire
> Congregate care settings
> Home-based health care workers
> Health care workers doing non-COVID-facing care
> Individuals who do not come into contact with patients
PHASE 2
(February 2021 – March 2021)
Listed in order of priority:
> Individuals with 2+ co-morbid conditions and/or age 75+
> Other workers (see more)
> Adults 65+
> Individuals with one co-morbid condition
PHASE 3
(Starting April 2021)
> The vaccine is expected to be available to the general public
