Huge lines are expected out dispensary doors as High Times gives 2,300 Bay Staters the chance to sample the best locally-grown cannabis and crown the top products in the state as Cannabis Cup Massachusetts kicks off October 21.


This is the biggest Cannabis Cup competition to take place in Massachusetts and will feature 40 brands, 182 product entries and 219,222 grams of cannabis.


2,300 judging kits will be available for purchase across the state at 26 different dispensaries. Each kit corresponds to one of 15 different categories including best indica, sativa and hybrid flower, indica and sativa gummies, edibles, beverages, concentrates and more. 


Judges will have 60 days to sample products included in the kit and vote on aesthetic, aroma, taste and effect. Winners will be announced at a virtual award ceremony January 8 at 4:20 p.m.
