On February 27, join Fresh Ink Theatre for a night of work-in-progress readings and outtakes from Martha's (b)Rainstorm, a new play in development by BPL's Playwright in Residence John J King. Set in Boston's post-climate change future, Martha's (b)Rainstorm explores rising waters, blazing temperatures, and displaced animals, and asks the audience what we should do about it all. Come hear poems, songs, and talking turtles put the "fun" in "dysFUNctional Climate."


Fresh Ink Theatre is a performing arts resident at Boston Center for the Arts, and in 2018 they are the pilot company in BCA's Push Project, a program designed to propel the process of developing new works of theatre.
