Join us as we tap, collect, and boil down sap from the maple trees found at the Boston Nature Center. Try your hand at tapping the tree, and enjoy some fresh sap! You will learn about the different techniques and equipment used across New England and why Sugar Maples are so unique. Explore the trails during a self-guided story book walk and scavenger hunt. Enjoy a tasty maple treat as well!
PLEASE NOTE:
This is an outdoor program; please dress accordingly. In the case of inclement weather, a make up date will be provided.
Each time slot will have a maximum of 40 people.
