One of the best things about late winter is maple season!
This time of year, when the weather conditions are just right, sap begins to run in maple trees and sugaring operations kick into high gear. Join us on a family-friendly stroll for all ages to learn about the mapling process including how to identify our maple trees and set taps, as well as how to collect and process the precious sap. Following the class, the Powisset Farm Store will be open to purchase genuine maple syrup and maple treats.
Your guide will be Trustees Ranger Tim, a naturalist, and recipient of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation’s “Outstanding Park Interpreter” award.

Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds and transfers will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.
