Mamma Maria is hosting an intimate dinner and wine experience on Monday, October 17 with Tuscan winemaker Alessandro Cella, general manager at Vallepicciola vineyard – who will be visiting Boston from Tuscany for this dinner. The 4-course, pre-fixe menu features a chef duet of pasta tastings and is skillfully paired with Vallepicciola wines. Alessandro will visit table-to-table throughout the evening for one-on-one discussions with guests on Italian wine and cuisine, how he began making wine at just 6 years old, his new vineyard, and to answer any questions.
$125 per person (taxes and gratuity not included). Guests can request a table for the event by booking a standard dinner reservation at Mamma Maria on October 17. There is no set seating time and no tickets are required. Reservations are available between 5 - 8:15 p.m. and can be made at mammamaria.com or by calling 617-523-0077.
About Mamma Maria: Tucked away amongst the cobblestone streets of the oldest public square in America, Mamma Maria has reimagined a turn-of-the-century brick row house into a fine-dining restaurant with five, intimate dining rooms, each with unique ambiance and decor providing old-world intimacy. Mamma Maria is the only Italian restaurant in Boston to have AAA Four-star Diamond Rating. Not to go unmentioned, Mamma Maria has cultivated a specialized wine list exclusively featuring over 300 wines solely from Italy, including Vallepicciola wines.
