Come empty-handed and leave with a functioning rubber stamp for decorating and personalizing labels, gifts, and stationery. Participants will be familiarized with the materials used in hand-carving a design into rubber, watch step-by-step carving demonstrations, and practice with provided tools. Using either instructor-suggested images or a design of their own creation, participants will carve their own rubber stamp to take home and put to use!


All materials are included; participants take home both their stamp and a complimentary ink pad.


This class will be taught by Kit Collins, local illustrator/artist and Spaceus member. Kit has created hand-carved rubber stamps for commercial clients including the ICA/Boston, GRLSQUASH and BRAIN Arts Organization.
