Buddha taught that love is the great protector. Both we ourselves and others are protected by love from harmful actions and suffering, and a loving heart inspires us to treat others with consideration and kindness.
However, our love is often mixed with attachment, which makes us possessive, anxious and easily hurt. Come explore Buddha’s wisdom teachings on how to discern the difference between love and attachment, and learn methods to weaken our attachment while improving our mind of love.
Meditations will be guided and light refreshments will be available during the break. This workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced meditators. Everyone is welcome.
Location: This event will be held at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston, located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. There is free parking available, please email us at [email protected]
Registration: $30. At the door, in advance at: https://www.meditationinboston.org/love-vs-attachment
