Monday, February 12, 2024 – Due to the anticipated winter storm this week, the Longwood Winter Stroll, originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, will now be held on Thursday, February 15. On this day, 15 institutions in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area (LMA) will host a free outdoor ice sculpture stroll, inviting participants to see live ice carving demonstrations, enjoy complimentary coffee and hot chocolate, explore the district, and make the most of the cold weather. The stroll will include live ice sculpting demonstrations planned from noon until 2 p.m. at Shapiro Plaza (330 Brookline Ave.) on Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s campus and the Harvard Medical School Quad. Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate will be available at the Stoneman Centennial Park location at Brigham & Women’s Hospital from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Visitors who take sculpture selfies and tag @LongwoodArea on Instagram or @Longwood_LMA on X (formerly Twitter) will be entered into a raffle to win a $20 gift card.
