The current exhibit at South Street Gallery, South Shore’s premier fine art gallery supporting area artists, features forty paintings of boats by ten artists. The title of this exhibit is “The Painted Boat” and it will be on display until May 10th. There are both oils and watercolors of various sizes on display. The participating artists are: Joreen Benbenek, Frank Costantino, Dennis Doyle, Jack Haran, Jack Hobbs, Charles Movalli, Dale Ratcliff, Marilyn Swift, Anthony Tomaselli, Michael Weymouth.


Hingham artist Michael Weymouth will paint at South Street Gallery on Saturday, April 28th, from 10am to 6pm. He will spend the day painting and working on his two oil paintings, size 18”x36”, which will be of a lobster boat, and of a sailboat. Public is encouraged to stop by any time during the day from 10am to 6pm to meet Mike, see him at work and watch him, ask any questions, and see the current exhibit.
