It's been a long week. The longest week. The kind of week you get through by looking forward to leaving work Friday at 5 p.m. and heading straight to your favorite bar to meet some friends, blow off some steam, and hear some music. Except all the bars are closed, all the gigs are canceled, and you can only interact with your friends in the group chat.
The next best thing? The Boston Calendar's Live at Five: Virtual Happy Hour Concert Series. Every Friday at 5 p.m., tune in via Facebook Live or Instagram Live to enjoy a short set of live music from local artists. This week's live streaming performances are brought to you by Meg Lieder and Aubrey Haddard.
If you like what you hear, make sure to drop some cash in the artists' virtual tip jars:

You can also support Boston artists by making a donation to the City of Boston's Artist Relief Fund or the Boston Music Makers Relief Fund operated by nonprofit The Record Co.
So pull up the live stream Friday at 5 p.m., order some delivery or takeout from your favorite local restaurant, and pour yourself a drink. You know what, go ahead and pour yourself two drinks for the price of one because you make the rules at this happy hour.

Meg Lieder first began singing at a young age when she starred in an array of musical theatre productions. Meg started to sing outside of theatre drawing from influences such as Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Tori Kelly. A powerful yet soothing voice, Meg combines her R&B roots with contemporary pop techniques to create her sound.
