In Colombia, Christmas begins on December 7th with a celebration known as la celebración de las velitas (the little candles celebration).


On December 8th, in Medellin, Colombia, el Festival de las Luces (Light festival) takes place, and the most important pedestrian pathway in the city is covered in millions of Christmas lights.


This year, we will be celebrating this Colombian tradition as well.
