A literary evening highlight two newly released books by acclaimed Italian-American authors Catherine Marenghi and Philip Gambone.
Ms. Marenghi, well-known novelist, memoirist and award winning poet, will present her forthcoming novel "Our Good Name". a story of northern Italian immigrants who leave behind their beloved Apennine village in the 1890's to find their place in a strange new country.
Mr. Philip Gambone, an award winning gay writer of fiction and nonfiction, will discuss his most recent work, "As Far as I Can Tell: Finding My Father in World War II", which describes a journey that challenged the author's think about was, about European history, about patriotism and about 'civilization'
