Support the Pride is a fundraiser for Lion Pride Cancer Retreat, a yearly community-building event for young people affected by breast and gynecological cancers. Come celebrate us as we go into our third year of running, but our first year as a new nonprofit! We will enjoy live entertainment as we highlight local artists and talent. We will be auctioning off raffle baskets, and items from local vendors. Come enjoy some amazing food, and much much more at Mill No 5 / The Overlook, a historic textile mill in Lowell, Mass.


Lion Pride Retreats were conceived after founder Yahira Torres's own breast cancer diagnosis. As a young Latinx woman, it was only online that she could find people who would understand her experience. From her chemotherapy chair, she was determined to not only conquer cancer but find a way to create spaces for connection and celebration with others.
