Limitless: Offering to the Spiritual Guide Commentary
Saturday, February 17 - 10:00am to 12:30pm
The practice of relying upon a Spiritual Guide, or ‘Guru Yoga’, is the root of the spiritual path and the foundation of all spiritual attainments. In Kadampa Buddhism, Guru Yoga is practiced in association with Je Tsongkhapa, an emanation of the Wisdom Buddha Manjushri.
Offering to the Spiritual Guide, or Lama Chopa, is a rich practice that empowers our mind to appreciate the essence of all of the stages of the path of Sutra and Tantra. It is practiced at Kadama Centers around the world twice every month, on the 10th and 25th days. In this special workshop Gen Khedrub will guide us in a journey of decoding some of the amazing symbolism in this practice so that our experience can come alive.
Meditations will be guided and light refreshments will be available during the break.
Registration: General ticket $25. Pay at the door or register in advance on the event page on our website: https://www.meditationinboston.org/osgcommentaryworkshop
Location: This event will be held at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston, located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. There is free parking available, please email us at [email protected]
