Insects are all around us, but are mostly noticed when they annoy us. In this program we will learn what an insect is and why they are important for the health of the natural world. We will explore the trails and roll logs to uncover and unearth insects and observe them up close with hand lenses. FREE
We will meet at the Dorchester Ave entrance, near St. Gregory Church. Street parking is available, and buses 12, 15, 24, 217 & 240 stop nearby. Please call 617-983-8500 for directions.
This program will be held entirely outdoors, so please bring rain and cold weather gear as needed. In the case of inclement, every effort will be made to reschedule the event.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols.
Registration is required. Register here: Life Under a Log in Dorchester (massaudubon.org)
