We may be familiar with the famous Revolutionary-era quotation “Give me Liberty, or give me Death!” But what about exploring these two themes together?
Join the King’s Chapel History as we descend into the history of the church’s 18th century crypt and burial registers, exploring themes relating to death and the American Revolution. Attendees will learn about the crypt’s history and significance, major funerals held at the church during the revolution, disputes over tombs, and more.
