The Cookie That Became a New York Institution is now opening a new location in Boston's Seaport!


Opening day is Friday, Nov. 22 at 8AM! The first 100 in line will get a limited edition tote filled with goodies.


Opening Day Info:

All proceeds from Levain Bakery’s Seaport opening day will be  donated to the South Boston Neighborhood House whose mission is to support family and neighborhood life in South Boston. Levain Bakery has donated proceeds from its bakery openings since 2009, and have an ongoing commitment to giving back to the local community as they continuously strive to be a force for good in each neighborhood they join.


About Levain Seaport:

Levain Bakery opened a new neighborhood retail bakery and production space in Boston to bring its iconic six-ounce cookies, signature pastries, and breads to Boston’s Seaport, marking the bakery’s second Boston Bakery and 16th location nationwide. When Levain opens its doors and will also oer local pick-up and delivery from 7am to 11pm as well as local catering. 


The bakery’s look and feel, helmed by Sarah Carpenter, includes a mural designed and hand-painted by Julia Emiliani, a Boston-based illustrator and designer. This custom mural, inspired by the Seaport Boulevard’s innovative public, features a collection of 14 playful ‘posters’ that celebrate the Seaport neighborhood, filled with hidden cookie moments. 


About Levain:

In 1995, our shared passion for delicious treats urged us to open a little neighborhood bakery. We baked BIG ooey-gooey cookies and after a short article in The New York Times described them as “what may possibly be the largest, most divine chocolate chip cookies in Manhattan”, our neighborhood shop was catapulted into stardome—and we’ve never looked back.
