Self Esteem Boston is launching its 30th year by offering a free six-part, virtual community education series: “Let’s Talk About Self-Esteem” featuring Feminist Gloria Steinem on Living Consciously, Psychologist and Coach “Dr. Max” Maxine Ruddock on Self-Assertiveness, Lorraine Lafata LICSW on Self-Acceptance, Eco-Activist STARHAWK on Self-Responsibility, Youth Coach Michy E. Morillo on Living with Purpose, and Psychologist Dr. Inge Hansen on Living with Integrity. The shows are hosted by Marion B. Davis, President of Self Esteem Boston, and co-hosted by Evelyn Murphy, Gail Morrison, Amihan Jennifer Matias, Betty Doherty and Deborah Linett.  

 

“These engaging, informative and powerful 30-minute shows will expand everyone’s knowledge of how to build healthy self-esteem” says Marion B. Davis and Jeri Levitt, the co-founders of Self Esteem Boston. “These shows remind us about how important it is to have positive self-regard. Strategies to deal with everyday challenges, and how to think about our lives differently” says Davis.


Living Consciously

Gloria Steinem, feminist, co-founder of Ms. Magazine, activist and author of the book “Revolution from Within” talks about self-esteem with Host Marion B. Davis, President of Self Esteem Boston and co-host: Former Massachusetts Lt. Governor Evelyn Murphy.

 

Self-Assertiveness

Dr. “Max” Maxine Ruddock, clinical psychologist, coach and accomplished speaker and lecturer talks about how being self-assertive is good for your self-esteem with Host Marion B. Davis, President of Self Esteem Boston and co-host Amihan Jennifer Matias.

 

Self-Acceptance

Lorraine Lafata, LICSW, clinical supervisor, clinician and advocate in the domestic violence field talks about how self-acceptance impacts our health and relationships with Host Marion B. Davis, President of Self Esteem Boston and co-host Gail Morrison.

 

Self-Responsibility

Starhawk, writer, activist, permaculture designer, teacher and leading voice of earth-based spirituality talks about self-responsibility and protecting the environment with Host Marion B. Davis, President of Self Esteem Boston and co-host Gail Morrison.

 

Living with Purpose

Michy E. Morillo, former juvenile delinquent, dropout, youth coach, and Author of “Cell Dreamer” discusses living with purpose and her passion to help troubled kids with Host Marion B. Davis, President of Self Esteem Boston and co-host Deborah Linett.

 

Living with Integrity

Dr. Inge Hansen, clinical psychologist, coach and co-author of “The Ethical Sellout” discusses Living with Integrity in a world that tests our values and ideals with Host Marion B. Davis, President of Self Esteem Boston and co-host Amihan Jennifer Matias.
