Genome editing technologies have swept news headlines for their ability to improve human health in revolutionary ways. At the forefront are CRISPR-Cas9-based systems which allow the alteration and editing of human DNA, creating the potential to treat disease at its genetic roots. Dr. Feng Zhang has pioneered the development of Cas9-based technologies and has continued to expand the CRISPR toolbox by adding other systems, including Cas13-based systems that target RNA for therapeutic and diagnostic applications.
Join Dr. Zhang for one night only to hear firsthand his research and insights around the groundbreaking innovation of CRISPR-based technologies, as well as the new horizons of genome editing that will continue to accelerate biomedical research around the world and improve health for all humanity.
