This class is not only an introduction to fine woodworking furniture building but also an opportunity to learn almost every tool in the woodshop. For anyone interested in building their own furniture, or designing a project that utilizes multiple woodshop tools, this class will teach you everything you need to get started.


With this class we will use virtually all the tools in the woodshop from Chisel to Tablesaw, Router, Band saw, Joiner, Planer, and Miter saw.


You will learn the following topics during the course of the class:


• rough lumber to dimensional stock
• drawer construction-fitting
• table top-full assembly glue-up
• Mortise-Tenon
• Double Tenon
• Miters
• Dovetail joint
• Lock joint
