Unbound Visual Arts is pleased to present a forthcoming exhibit in honor of Latinx Heritage Month. In this show curated by Jessica Hernandez, twelve artists have offered rich meditations on what it means to be Latinx in our current moment.
Through sculpture, photography, time-based works, and mixed media, the featured artists examine subjects ranging from movement and migration, gender and womanhood, the violence of the nation-state, and the importance of healing the mind and the body.
Latinx Identities: Struggles, Perspectives, and Critiques will be on display from September 22nd, 2023 to November 17th, 2023 at UVA’s Arthaus Gallery. The free public opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Thursday September 28th 2023 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm ET. Please join us for live entertainment and refreshments!
