The Latin American Studies Association (LASA) celebrates its 37th International Congress, LASA2019, in Boston from May 24 to 27, 2019. As the biggest Congress in the world concerning Latin America and the Caribbean, LASA will welcome more than 5,000 specialized academics from disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, history, literature, cultural studies, political science and more.


Join us at the Film Festival, Book Exhibit, speaking panels, Gran Baile and more to celebrate the theme of the Congress, “Nuestra América: Justice and Inclusion,” which reflects the city of Boston, the site of the American Revolution where current ideas of democracy and justice were born. Events will be hosted at the Boston Marriott Copley Place & Sheraton Boston Hotel.
