I know you probably already have big plans to mark the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution, but just in case you don't, please Join me Thursday November 9, 7-10 PM for an opening reception of The Landscape of Revolution, a series of paintings inspired by the once famous landmark moments of the Russian Revolution and Civil War. This body of work interweaves the romance and betrayal of the Revolution with the Russo-Jewish emigration saga--all against the backdrop of the vast Russian Steppe and it's glowing White Nights. I'm also delighted to say that Gin Daisy will be on hand to temper the Eastern gloom with some swinging Americana. Join us to raise a glass, argue the Revolution's legacy, and maybe belt out a socialist anthem or two with Gin Daisy.
