Join us for a holiday event you won't want to miss... Lamplighter's Great Brewery Bake Off! We're inviting our community to come together to give back this holiday season, with friendly competition and a lot of sweets.
On Friday, December 8th, ten amateur bakers will meet at our Broadway back taproom to compete in our first ever Brewery Bake Off. Interested in competing? Get all the info and sign up here.
Inspired by our favorite British competition show, our Great Brewery Bake Off is the ultimate baking battle where sweets aficionados will come together to celebrate all things holiday treats. Here's how it works:
- 7:00 pm - Audience tasting hour; all bakers are asked to create samples for our hungry audience members. Be sure to get there on time if you want a bite!
- 8:00 pm - Judging - bakers will present their treats to our official judging panel
- 8:30 pm - Winner is crowned!
We have asked some of our favorite dessert pop ups to judge this sugar filled compeition! We are lucky enough to have folks from Honeycomb Creamery, Lone Orchid Bakery & Silver Whisk Bakeshop join us to sample all the Holiday sweets they can devour.
Along with our panel of judges, there will also be an audience favorite, so be sure to cheer on your favorite baker.
Each ticket purchased gets you access as an audience participant. All proceeds from tickets sold will be donated to our friends at On The Rise to support their uniquely holistic approach to providing safety, community, and advocacy for homeless and formerly homeless women and transgender/nonbinary people in Cambridge.
