Boston’s premier dance and ballet school, Koltun Ballet Boston (KBB), opens the doors to its Watertown studios Saturday April 29, inviting parents, potential students and community for a look behind the scenes of the national award-winning organization. Visitors can tour the state-of-the-art facilities, watch classes for youth 3-18 years (beginner to pre-professional), meet co-founders Alexandra Koltun and Alex Lapshin along with KBB’s outstanding faculty, talk with current parents and students (including winners of the 2023 Youth America Grand Prix dance competition in February), and enjoy refreshments. KBB’s Open House runs 10am to 3pm. Alexandra Koltun says elements of her highly successful school will be on full display during the Open House, with experienced faculty members who give an individual approach to student classes and make for a uniquely supportive environment.
