Amateur & pros, all instruments are welcome to Jam! (In-person Only)
The Boston Synagogue Klezmer jam is officially back for the spring! All instruments, and all playing levels are welcome to join! As usual, we'll start the evening with a slow jam, followed by a fast jam. Come to one or both!
Slow Jam: 5:30 - 6:30
We'll learn a tune together, slowly by ear. If you don't know a lot of tunes, or you're looking to add to your repertoire, this is a great opportunity for the Klez-pros and amateurs alike to learn something new!
Fast Jam: 7-9
Bring a tune to lead, play along, do a dance, or just come to listen!
Followed by refreshments on our heated patio!
COVID-19 information:
Masks will be required at all times, except when eating or playing your instrument (winds and brass; please bring a bell cover if you have one). The Synagogue is equipped with an HVAC air purifier, as well as an outdoor back patio for eating and drinking. All attendees are required to be fully vaccinated, including a booster.
