Hey there, what's that sound? This year marks the WFPL’s fifth year hosting free concerts featuring a variety of musical styles performed by talented area artists. Performances will be on the second Sunday of the month from December-March. All concerts are free and open to the public.
Violinist and composer Kenny Butler, will join us for a concert featuring jazz, classical and world music with improvisation as its focus. Over the years Kenny has studied a range of great musicians and improvisers, among them Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Bach, Turlough O’Caralan Thelonious Sphere Monk and Paganini. As a performer and composer, Kenny loves to create music that invokes an emotional response and inspires people to smile and dance. He will be joined by guitarist Zack Danzinger.
