Keana—aka Keerthana Sudarshan—is a contemporary R&B pop singer from India, with an identity shaped by her journey from Carnatic music to touring as frontwoman for Bangalore-based disco, funk band Clown With A Frown and her many solo electronic collaborations.
Her influences range from Stevie Wonder, Snoh Aalegra, Lauryn Hill, D'Angelo, Solange, and The Bee Gees—artists with indelible soul, both old and new. To learn more, follow her on Instagram.
Registration is not required but the limited amount of seating is first come, first served. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Rabb Lecture Hall.
Boston Public Library's Wednesday evening concerts are presented in partnership with Berklee College of Music, and all concerts in the series are sponsored by Bank of America.
