Join Spaceus member Valerie Imparato for a discussion group series, Just Because We're Magic, following up on the themes of her most recent exhibition, which explored what it means to be a black woman in America, and all of the beauty, struggle, and innovation that that entails.
The first in the series will center around mental health + self care, in particular in relation to being a black woman in Boston. Val will be joined by Arielle Gray + Theresa Sophia of What's On Your Mind Inc. and Jaylee Oberg of You Good, Sis? in a brief talk, leading into an open group discussion.
