JP Porchfest, now going into its 6th year, is a vibrant music and arts festival that takes place on porches (and patios, stoops, driveways, church/community center yards…) all over the neighborhood. A huge audience roams all corners of the neighborhood, taking in the wonderful diversity of performances.


Our mission is to bridge the divides of race, class, culture and immigrant status through the power of the arts. We welcome performers of all kinds (music, dance, theater, spoken word, storytelling, circus arts, comedy…) and from anywhere (no need to be or know a JP resident).
